Lucy is a freelance artist from Sheffield, with a particular affection for painting murals. She has painted on a variety of surfaces in an array of settings, including homes, hospitals, schools, and commercial premises. She has painted murals on walls from Kenya to Australia.

Lucy works in several schools, within South Yorkshire and Derbyshire, delivering art clubs and coordinating extensive creative and literary projects; from immersive journeys through the Stone Age to open air productions of Shakespeare.

Although the pandemic put much of this work on hold,  it did provide a long awaited opportunity for Lucy to work on a very personal project: an attempt to fulfil her childhood ambition of becoming an author and illustrator of children’s picture books.
